USEFUL TIPS
This side-dish has always been traditionally combined with typical Emilian cold cuts. You can also slice the onions and serve them with beef or boiled poultry, adding a little bit of Italian extra virgin olive oil. Otherwise, you can serve them with canned fish, like sardines or tuna, possibly further enhancing this combination with seasonal cooked or raw vegetables.
