Our Medicina Onions and Prosciutto Sauce combines native ingredients from our region. We have combined italian tomatoes with local prosciutto and the famous Medicina onions. Sweet and pleasant Cervia sea salt rounds off the recipe, which represents traditional Emilian cuisine at its best. Balanced sweetness in a jar.


INGREDIENTS
Tomato pulp, golden onion 32,4%, raw ham 20% (pork leg, salt), extravirgin olive oil, sea salt. After opening, keep refrigerated. GLUTEN-FREE.


USEFUL TIPS
Our Medicina onion and prosciutto sauce can be used in many different recipes. Add 400g of peas to a jar of sauce and cook over a medium heat, covering the pan with its lid, stirring from time to time. If necessary, add a little water to prevent it catching. Season to taste with salt and herbs. Serve hot. It can also be used to dress pasta for an incredibly easy yet tasty meal. Cook the pasta, taking care to follow the cooking time and leaving it “al dente”. In the meantime, warm the sauce in a large frying pan. A 200gr jar of sauce is enough for 2 or 3 portions. When the pasta is cooked, add it to the frying pan and warm over high heat while stirring, obtaining this way a delicious sauce with ham and peas.
